Tempura Prawn Bao Buns with Bang Bang Sauce

Crispy Tempura Prawns nestled in fluffy bao buns, topped with fresh veggies and a delicious bang bang sauce!

  • 6 KBs Tempura Prawns
  • 3 bao buns
  • ¼ Cucumber, sliced
  • 1 Radish, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • Lime wedge
Cooking Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200oC fan-forced, or 210oC conventional oven. Place product on lined baking tray and cook for 7 minutes each side, total cooking time 14 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown.

Step 2

Chop up your cucumber, radish, and washed lettuce, set aside.  

Step 3

Place frozen bao buns in a steamer and follow packaging cooking instructions.

Step 4

In a small bowl mix together mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce, and sriracha, set aside.

Step 5

Assemble your bao buns, spread sauce mixture across one surface of the bao buns, layer with lettuce, cucumber and radish. Top with tempura prawns.
